Job Description
The Senior Engineer Project Manager - Traffic leads the design and management of transportation infrastructure projects, collaborates on business development, and contributes to community improvements within a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with management and stakeholders to develop marketing plans and enhance services
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and agency representatives
- Track prospective business opportunities and develop proposals
- Deliver client presentations and communicate project progress
- Ensure projects are optimized for cost efficiency and risk mitigation
Requirements
- Experience in leading projects for designing complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience in project management within transportation engineering or related fields.
- Ability to collaborate with senior management, including Traffic and Planning Group Managers and Vice Presidents, to develop marketing plans, cultivate and maintain client and agency relations, track prospective opportunities, develop proposals, and deliver client presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to business development activities such as developing proposals and marketing plans.
- Experience working in a hybrid work environment with in-office presence on Monday and Friday and WFH on Tuesday through Thursday.
- Completion of a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
