Job Description
The Senior Engineer Project Manager - Traffic is responsible for leading the design of complex transportation infrastructure projects, managing client relationships, contributing to business development, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with management and stakeholders to develop marketing plans and cultivate client relationships
- Track prospective opportunities, develop proposals, and deliver client presentations
- Ensure projects are optimized for cost efficiency and risk mitigation
Requirements
- Experience leading projects for designing complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Ability to collaborate with the Traffic and Planning Group Manager and the Vice President of Surface Transportation Engineering.
- Experience in developing marketing plans, cultivating and maintaining relations with clients and agency representatives, tracking prospective opportunities, developing proposals, and delivering client presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize projects for cost efficiency and risk mitigation.
- Experience working in a hybrid work environment with in-office presence on Monday and Friday and WFH on Tuesday through Thursday.
- Completion of a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
