Job Description
The position involves leading and contributing to the design and management of corporate industrial, educational, and government architectural projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting business development efforts within a flexible work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design efforts for corporate industrial projects, developing schematic designs and preparing production documentation.
- Serve as a Project Manager by coordinating multidisciplinary team activities, managing fee estimates, project budgets, and schedules.
- Assist with specification preparation and edits for architectural projects.
- Develop project proposals and client presentations to support marketing and business development.
- Maintain and establish client relationships and identify industry and market trends.
Requirements
- Must have experience serving as a Project Architect and be responsible for developing schematic designs, assisting with specification preparation and edits, and preparing production documentation.
- Must have experience serving as a Project Manager and be responsible for coordinating the activities of a multidiscipline team while managing fee estimates, project budgets, and schedules.
- Must have the ability to develop project proposals and client presentations, maintain and establish client relationships, and identify industry and market trends to launch new business development objectives.
- Must have the ability to contribute to and lead the design efforts for a variety of corporate industrial projects for Fortune 500 clients throughout the country, as well as educational and government projects in Minnesota.
- Must have a strong design skills and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Must have the ability to collaborate with a multidiscipline team of highly talented and innovative design and engineering professionals.
- Must have a minimum of a professional degree in Architecture (e.g., Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture).
- Must have the ability to work in a challenging and highly-collaborative environment to create effective, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable architectural solutions.
- Must complete a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history, upon acceptance of a conditional offer.
