Job Description
The role involves leading structural engineering projects for various types of buildings and structures, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, mentoring engineers, and contributing to business development within a hybrid work environment at an employee-owned firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze complex industrial facilities and design structural systems for various building types
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering projects and collaborate with other professionals
- Mentor developing engineers and build client relationships
- Contribute to business development through proposal writing and marketing efforts
Requirements
- Possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Structural Engineering or be eligible to obtain one.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in structural engineering design, analysis, and project management.
- Demonstrate experience leading multidisciplinary projects involving civil, electrical, mechanical, and architectural professionals.
- Have the ability to analyze complex industrial facilities, educational buildings, mining structures, or commercial developments.
- Possess strong skills in designing structural systems for various types of buildings and structures.
- Be capable of mentoring developing engineers and providing technical guidance on projects.
- Have experience building and maintaining relationships with clients, including trust and communication skills.
- Be willing to contribute to business development activities such as proposal writing and marketing efforts.
- Complete a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history, upon acceptance of a conditional offer of employment.
