Job Description
A Professional Electrical Engineer responsible for leading electrical design projects related to building and industrial power, lighting, and signal systems within the rail and transit infrastructure sector, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical engineering portions of projects to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient designs.
- Develop site, power, lighting, and signal plans, including one-lines, panel schedules, conduit layouts, and detailed drawings.
- Support construction administration by reviewing shop drawings, answering contractor questions, and performing site observations for compliance.
Requirements
- A Professional Electrical Engineer license or equivalent certification.
- Extensive experience in building and industrial power, lighting, and signal system design.
- Experience leading the electrical engineering portions of projects to create safe, reliable, and efficient designs that meet client needs.
- Proficiency in developing site, power, lighting, and signal plans, one-lines, panel board schedules, conduit cable layouts, and detailed drawings.
- Experience supporting construction administration activities by answering contractor questions, reviewing shop drawings, and performing observations to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
