Job Description
An Electrical Engineer specializing in power systems for airfield airport operations, responsible for designing electrical components such as lighting, controls, power distribution, and security systems, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on various aviation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for airfield airport operations including lighting, controls, power distribution, emergency generators, NAVAIDS, security, and communications systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on airport and aviation projects
- Perform construction administration and inspection observation duties
Requirements
- Candidate must reside within a regular commuting distance from the company's office in Bloomington, MN.
- Experience designing electrical systems for airfield airport operations including lighting, controls, and power distribution for commercial and general aviation airports.
- Ability to design electrical components related to power distribution, control systems, emergency generators, NAVAIDS, airfield lighting, security, and communications systems.
- Experience performing construction administration and inspection observation duties related to electrical systems.
