Job Description
A CAD Designer Engineering Specialist responsible for developing preliminary and final designs for water, wastewater, and street improvement projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver civil and infrastructure designs for public and private sector clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing preliminary and final designs for wastewater collection, treatment, water supply, and street improvements.
- Collaborate with Civil, Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, and Structural professionals on multi-discipline projects.
- Create civil designs for public and private projects, including industrial, commercial, utility infrastructure, stormwater management, and campus development.
Requirements
- Experience assisting with the development of preliminary and final designs for wastewater collection, wastewater treatment, water supply, drinking water treatment, and street improvements within the municipal government, manufacturing industrial, and private development sectors.
- Ability to work alongside Civil, Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, and Structural professionals to provide civil design on multi-discipline public and private projects, including industrial, commercial development, utility infrastructure and facility design, stormwater management systems, and corporate and academic campus design.
- Proficiency in CAD design, specifically as a CAD Designer Engineering Specialist.
- Educational background or experience sufficient to support civil design tasks in public and private sector projects (specific degree or certification not explicitly stated but implied).
- Availability to work in a flexible work arrangement of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
- Successful completion of a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
