Job Description
This internship offers hands-on experience in landscape architecture, involving real-world design projects, software application, and collaboration with professionals to contribute to community-focused public space developments during the summer of 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in early site analysis and design development for landscape projects
- Contribute to creating final construction documents using design software
- Support the development of design ideas for public spaces such as parks, trails, and plazas
Requirements
- Be an undergraduate student pursuing a Landscape Architecture BLA or BSLA degree or a graduate student pursuing a Master of Landscape Architecture MLA degree.
- Be available to work 40 hours per week with occasional overtime throughout the summer of 2026 from mid-May through mid-August.
- Be able to primarily work from the office with the possibility of flexible hybrid work arrangements.
- Have proficiency in using design tools such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Illustrator to help bring ideas to life from early site analysis and design development to final construction documents.
- Successfully complete a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history, upon acceptance of a conditional offer of employment.
