Job Description
The Senior Commercial Counsel will advise on and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts across UK and European operations, providing legal guidance to support business goals while managing risk and ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise the business on legal aspects of commercial contracts across UK and European operations
- Negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements
- Provide pragmatic legal guidance to stakeholders
- Manage legal risks associated with commercial activities
- Ensure compliance with UK, EU, and international laws and regulations
Requirements
- Provide pragmatic legal guidance to stakeholders across the business to help achieve commercial goals while effectively managing risk and ensuring compliance with UK, EU, and EU member state laws and relevant international considerations.
- Negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts across UK and European operations.
- Advising on legal issues related to commercial contracts and negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable UK, EU, and EU member state laws and relevant international laws and regulations.
- Demonstrate experience in advising on legal matters related to commercial contracts in a corporate or legal environment.
- Have a legal qualification or relevant legal education (implied by the role of Senior Commercial Counsel).
