Job Description
The Senior Backend Engineer - Data Platform will design and build APIs and platform services to enable scalable, resilient data access across Sword Health's AI-driven healthcare platform, supporting clinical, operational, and AI teams in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build APIs to make data accessible across Sword Health
- Own critical platform services and implement resilient workflows
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to define scalable data contracts
Requirements
- Experience designing and building APIs that make data accessible across platforms.
- Ownership of critical platform services related to data infrastructure.
- Implementation of resilient workflows within data platforms.
- Collaboration with Data Engineers to define contracts that scale.
- Production API experience in a professional environment.
- Comfort working in regulated environments, such as healthcare or similar industries.
- Possession of a valid EU visa and being based in Portugal.
