Job Description
The Senior Bid Writer will lead the end-to-end process of identifying, developing, and securing public sector tenders for Sword Health's healthcare solutions, supporting partnerships with NHS and other organizations across various health domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end tender process for public-sector opportunities
- Identify and qualify potential public-sector tenders and opportunities
- Develop bid strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Write and compile tender submissions and proposals
- Manage submission timelines and ensure compliance with tender requirements
- Conduct post-bid reviews and incorporate lessons learned
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for bids
- Support partnerships with NHS and other organizations through effective bid management
Requirements
- Experience leading the end-to-end tender process, including horizon opportunity qualification, strategy development, writing, submission, and post-bid learning.
- Proven ability to identify, shape, and secure public-sector opportunities, particularly within the UK NHS and public-sector tenders.
- Strong understanding of the public healthcare sector, including NHS and other public and private healthcare organizations.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, compelling, and evidence-based bid documents.
- Experience working across multiple healthcare domains, including Musculoskeletal Care, Women’s Health, Mental Health, Surgical Prehabilitation, Rehabilitation, Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare, and Occupational Health.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners to support partnership development and tender submissions.
- Knowledge of healthcare policies, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to public sector tenders in the UK.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and opportunity qualification within the healthcare or public sector tendering process.
