Job Description
A Senior Backend Engineer on the AI Team responsible for building, scaling, and optimizing infrastructure that supports machine learning-powered clinical features, decision support systems, and innovations in Generative AI, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure products for personalized healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, scale, and optimize infrastructure supporting ML-powered clinical features and decision support systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products are robust, scalable, and secure
- Support upcoming innovations in Generative AI
- Develop and maintain backend systems that enable seamless access to personalized, data-driven care
Requirements
- Proven experience as a backend engineer with a focus on building, scaling, and optimizing infrastructure supporting machine learning-powered clinical features, decision support systems, and innovations in Generative AI.
- Experience working directly with cross-functional teams to ensure products are robust, scalable, and secure.
- Strong programming skills in relevant backend languages (such as Python, Java, or similar).
- Experience with developing and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable backend systems.
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning, and generative AI technologies and their integration into backend systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a high-growth company.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams including AI/ML, product, and clinical teams.
- Understanding of data privacy, security standards, and compliance requirements relevant to healthcare data.
