Job Description
The Senior Backend Engineer will develop and maintain AI-driven healthcare solutions, contributing to the company's mission of making healthcare accessible and cost-effective through innovative backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services for the AI Care platform
- Design scalable and efficient backend architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and improvements
Requirements
- Candidates must possess a valid EU visa and be based in Portugal.
- Proficiency in backend development skills relevant to building and maintaining scalable server-side applications.
- Experience in designing, developing, and deploying backend services using appropriate programming languages and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of API development, integration, and security best practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms and deployment pipelines relevant to backend infrastructure.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Experience working in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams including product managers, frontend developers, and data scientists.
- Knowledge of database systems, both relational and non-relational, and experience with data modeling and optimization.
- Understanding of security principles related to data protection and user privacy.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to backend systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
