Job Description
The Intake Specialist Physical Therapist is responsible for conducting onboarding consultations with members, addressing their questions, and preparing treatment briefs to facilitate effective musculoskeletal care, all within a remote, part-time role requiring fluency in Spanish and clinical licensure.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct onboarding video/audio consultations with members at the start of their program
- Address high-level questions from members and establish behavioral change foundations
- Process member information to create treatment briefs for physical therapists
- Create handoff notes to ensure proper follow-up by treatment physical therapists
- Address additional questions from treatment physical therapists regarding members
Requirements
- Must have a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
- Must be licensed physical therapist.
- Must be fluent in Spanish.
- At least 3 years of clinical experience in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage patients/members.
- Ability to think outside the box and adapt to a hands-off approach.
- Hard-working and able to handle the pressure of a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working on a flexible schedule, between 10 and 20 hours per week.
- Must share availability for the following month at least 30 days in advance.
- This is a part-time position with hours fluctuating between 10 hours and 20 hours per week.
