Job Description
The Head of Efficiency at Sword Health is responsible for leading company-wide initiatives to optimize operations, drive automation and AI adoption, and enhance overall impact and growth without increasing costs, supporting the company's mission to build a global, accessible, pain-free world.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead company-wide efficiency initiatives to optimize impact of resources, processes, and personnel
- Drive automation and AI adoption across the organization to support scalable growth
- Enhance visibility into operational performance and resource allocation
- Ensure sustainable growth by improving operational effectiveness without significantly increasing costs
- Collaborate with finance and other departments to support strategic planning and resource management
Requirements
- Lead company-wide efficiency at Sword Health by ensuring every dollar, hire, and process becomes an impact multiplier as the company continues to scale globally.
- Drive automation and AI adoption within the organization.
- Help Sword grow faster without doubling its cost base.
- Partner across the organization to lead financial planning, analysis, and operations.
- Ensure smart resource allocation, rigorous compliance, and strategic insights that enable informed decisions and long-term impact.
- Possess the legal right to work in the United States; for candidates in Portugal, possess a valid EU visa and be based in Portugal.
- Full-time employment with a minimum of 25 hours per week.
- For US applicants: be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship will not be provided.
- For Portugal candidates: be based in Portugal with a valid EU visa.
