Job Description
A Quality Engineer specializing in AI software, responsible for ensuring the quality and regulatory compliance of AI-powered medical devices across various platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold safety and effectiveness standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the quality and regulatory compliance of AI-powered SaMD products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software development, regulatory affairs, and quality assurance.
- Apply quality engineering skills across various deployment platforms such as mobile applications, cloud services, edge devices, and AI platforms.
- Maintain safety and effectiveness standards for medical devices and software.
- Support continuous improvement of quality processes and standards.
Requirements
- Possess a strong understanding of quality assurance and regulatory compliance for AI-powered Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) products.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including software development, regulatory affairs, and quality assurance to ensure safety and effectiveness of products.
- Apply core skills across multiple deployment platforms such as mobile applications, cloud services, edge devices, and AI platforms.
- Have experience in ensuring quality standards and regulatory compliance specific to medical devices or healthcare technology products.
- Be detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high standards of safety and effectiveness in product development and deployment.
- Possess a valid EU visa and be based in Portugal, as the position does not offer relocation assistance.
- Candidates must be able to work remotely and have the legal right to work in Portugal.
