Job Description
A full-time Maintenance Technician role involving working with a mechanical engineering team to support the manufacturing and maintenance of advanced solar cells in the renewable energy industry, ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals seeking experience in solar technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment and systems.
- Assist the mechanical engineering team with technical tasks and troubleshooting.
- Conduct routine inspections and ensure equipment operates efficiently.
- Support installation and commissioning of mechanical components.
- Maintain safety standards and documentation related to maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent; suitable for a recent graduate or early-stage professional.
- Ability to work full-time as a Maintenance Technician, reporting to the Head of Mechanical Engineering.
- Willingness to work alongside a mechanical engineering team as part of the wider technical delivery team.
- Demonstrated interest or basic understanding of renewable energy technology, specifically solar energy.
- Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks which may include lifting, bending, and working in various environmental conditions.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures related to maintenance and mechanical work.
- Availability to work on-site at the company's location (implied by the LI-Onsite designation).
