Job Description
An internship role supporting the legal team at Akaysha Energy, focusing on reviewing contracts, conducting legal research, improving legal processes, and assisting with legal tools and compliance in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing and preparing consultancy agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other contracts
- Conducting legal research and monitoring regulations affecting the energy sector
- Assisting in creating and implementing legal processes to improve efficiency
- Assessing and implementing software tools for legal operations
- Managing the legal inbox and providing paralegal support
Requirements
- The internship requires an immediate start, and a commitment of 2-3 days per week through to the 19th September, 2025.
- You should consider applying if you are available 2-3 days per week until the 19th September 2025.
- You are a law student, ideally in your final year or penultimate year.
- You must be an Australian citizen, hold permanent residency status, or have existing Australian working rights to apply for this role.
