The Facilities Maintenance Lead is responsible for ensuring the safety, organization, and smooth operation of a 4,000 m² advanced manufacturing facility, overseeing maintenance tasks, equipment installation, and coordination with contractors to support the company's innovative solar technology production.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the safety, organization, and smooth operation of the facility, including the mechanical workshop, labs, and clean room.
Perform practical tasks such as basic repairs, small rig builds, and maintenance of exhaust and AC systems in the clean room.
Oversee goods storage and assist with the installation of new equipment.
Coordinate with contractors and manage chemical disposal safely.
Provide hands-on support across the site to maintain facility operations.
Requirements
Proven experience in facilities maintenance, including performing basic repairs, small rig builds, and overseeing maintenance of exhaust and air conditioning systems in a facility of at least 4,000 m².
Experience in operating forklifts on an occasional basis.
Ability to perform minor plumbing and electrical work.
Experience in overseeing goods storage and assisting with the installation of new equipment.
Ability to coordinate with contractors for maintenance and repairs.
Experience in managing chemical disposal safely in a laboratory or industrial setting.
Hands-on support skills across a facility, including supporting site operations and maintenance tasks.
Demonstrated ownership and pride in facility management, with a focus on maintaining safety, organization, and smooth daily operations.
Ability to lead a small team, including one direct report, and provide practical guidance and support.

Physical capability to perform hands-on maintenance tasks and operate equipment as required.
