Job Description
Join a dynamic international trading team focused on environmental commodities, where you will develop analytical tools, manage risk in Energy Attribute Certificates, forecast renewable energy trends, and contribute to decarbonization strategies through market analysis and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain EAC market models to forecast price trends and trading opportunities
- Manage risk in local and international EAC markets within mandated parameters
- Analyze renewable energy markets to identify supply-demand drivers
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements
- Support ad-hoc impact assessments and analysis related to EAC markets and trading strategies
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in options trading, showcasing a proven track record in derivatives markets, particularly in challenging, opaque OTC markets
- A passion to organize, structure, and visualize complex quantitative problems
- Advanced proficiency in Python and R programming languages
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or related fields
- Excellent English proficiency
- Currently living in or open to relocating to Mexico City
