Job Description
A team lead role overseeing the physical operations of biofuels, including FAME and HVO, focusing on deal execution, logistics, and stakeholder coordination to ensure smooth trading activities and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day physical operations for FAME and HVO, expanding to all feedstocks and biofuels.
- Oversee full deal execution, including contract terms, settlements, cargo planning, and documentation.
- Manage supply planning, stock forecasting, and coordinate communication with traders and stakeholders.
- Maintain relationships with surveyors, terminals, and logistics partners.
- Prepare management reports, KPIs, and budget updates, and implement continuous improvement and risk mitigation strategies.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for the operations team.
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience in liquid bulk or biofuels operations, ideally in a trading environment.
- Strong expertise in physical deal execution, logistics coordination, EFP processes, and cargo documentation.
- Comfortable taking the lead and helping others grow, while remaining involved in day-to-day operational tasks.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High sense of ownership, reliability, and accountability in managing responsibilities.
