Job Description
A Senior Platform Engineer responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and AI-driven development platforms to support trading, risk management, and decarbonization initiatives at a global scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, automate, and evolve cloud infrastructure and systems to support trading, risk, and decarbonization initiatives.
- Promote adoption of AI-assisted workflows and tools to enhance automation and efficiency.
- Enhance citizen development platforms for scalable and secure automation by trading and front-office teams.
- Maintain and optimize secure, scalable cloud environments across Azure and AWS.
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and develop automation tooling to increase operational efficiency.
- Implement security monitoring, alerting, and resilience frameworks for cloud and infrastructure security.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 6 - 8 years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE hands-on experience with Azure and AWS
- Proven experience managing production Kubernetes clusters and hybrid connectivity
- Proficiency in Python or similar languages for automation, tooling, and infrastructure management
- Familiarity with Terraform, CDK, or similar tools and experience building robust CI CD pipelines
- Proactive, systems-thinking engineering mindset with strong troubleshooting and operational excellence focus
- Excellent communication skills, able to work across distributed teams and balance autonomy with transparency
