Job Description
This hybrid role involves originating and executing deals in environmental commodities and power markets within the APAC region, managing key client relationships, and collaborating with global teams to drive growth and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and drive opportunities to expand STX Group's presence across the APAC region
- Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value clients in environmental certificates and power-related markets
- Originate, structure, and close deals of all sizes with corporates, utilities, and energy companies in APAC
- Collaborate with Trading Analysis, Policy Regulatory, and Corporate teams to connect market developments with business opportunities
Requirements
- 3 to 7 years of experience in commercial roles within commodities, energy, or environmental markets
- Proven track-record managing large accounts and closing large-scale transactions
- Strong familiarity with APAC energy markets
- Existing network in the regional energy or environmental space is highly preferred
- Experience with environmental commodities such as I-RECs, RECs, EACs, GOs, or carbon and power is a plus
- Fluent in English; knowledge of additional APAC languages is an advantageous
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to navigate fast-paced, complex negotiations
- Self-starter who takes full ownership of deals, opportunities, client relationships, and stakeholder engagement
- Analytical and structured approach to identifying and acting on market opportunities
