Job Description
A PPA Advisor role focused on originating, structuring, and managing renewable energy Power Purchase Agreements, working closely with clients and internal teams to develop tailored decarbonization solutions and drive strategic growth in the environmental commodities market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead origination and structuring of renewable energy PPAs and long-term offtake agreements.
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline of corporate PPA opportunities from lead generation to contract execution.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to corporate clients, understanding their sustainability goals, energy needs, and financial priorities.
- Collaborate with trading, risk, legal, and sustainability teams to design integrated client solutions.
- Conduct market and policy analysis to inform product development and client recommendations.
- Represent STX Group at industry events, client meetings, and strategic forums to enhance brand visibility.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to organizational knowledge-sharing.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in renewable energy PPAs, energy markets, structured sales, or energy commodity origination.
- Proven track record of negotiating and closing PPA transactions or complex structured energy deals.
- Strong understanding of European power markets, renewable energy technologies, and corporate decarbonization challenges.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building pipelines, identifying new market opportunities, and growing STX s role as a leader in renewable power.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills when engaging with senior corporate stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, globally distributed team.
