Job Description
The role involves managing and ensuring compliance of the renewable gas supply chain with sustainability standards like ISCC EU, coordinating certification processes, and engaging with internal teams and external partners to support decarbonization strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and apply EU Standard requirements such as ISCC EU for the RNG supply chain
- Create procedures, methodologies, and systems for handling sustainability documentation
- Oversee annual ISCC EU audits and manage sustainability operations data
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams, suppliers, and customers on sustainability standards
- Participate in voluntary schemes working groups to enhance understanding and share insights
Requirements
- Extensive expertise in managing and applying ISCC EU and ISCC PLUS requirements within an RNG supply chain
- Deep expertise in managing and applying EU Standard requirements such as ISCC EU for the RNG supply chain
- Knowledge of other EU Global standards such as INS, REDcert, with RSB knowledge considered an advantage
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Renewable Energy, or a related field
- Fluent in English
- Currently based in or willing to relocate to the Netherlands
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical mindset with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Great team player with strong social skills to manage a diverse team in a dynamic environment
