Job Description
The role involves supporting the development and execution of environmental commodity trading strategies, managing trade settlements and certificates, and collaborating with various teams to ensure efficient and accurate trading operations in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of the trading strategy
- Ensure correct delivery of certificates to registries and manage related transfers and redemptions
- Maintain accurate settlement records and manage expiring volumes
- Drive consistency, efficiency, and automation in regional and global team activities
- Collaborate with front office teams to understand and challenge their strategies as needed
- Work with Trade Support Operations, Accounting, Treasury, and Tax teams to improve information flow and analysis accuracy
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Financial Engineering, Econometrics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Quantitative studies, or another Quantitative discipline
- 0-3 years of working experience in a similar position within a trading environment or similar industry
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, exposure to VBA, Power Query, and the ability to use AI tools is a plus
- Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Creative and open-minded in order to find the best possible solution for issues
