Job Description
The Financial Controller will oversee financial reporting, manage month-end closing processes, contribute to process improvement projects, and support audit compliance in a dynamic commodity trading environment, ensuring accurate and timely financial information for internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate, adequate, and timely financial reporting for multiple entities
- Coordinate and monitor month-end close processes and prepare management accounts
- Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing internal controls and operational efficiency
- Support the preparation of statutory annual accounts and facilitate external audits
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant financial accounting and reporting experience, including at least 2 years of experience in month-end closing.
- Recognized professional accounting qualification.
- Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and problem-solving capabilities to support accurate reporting and decision-making.
- Hands-on, self-starter mindset with the ability to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
- Fluency in English, with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
