Job Description
The Warehouse Systems Operations Lead is responsible for establishing and managing the procurement team's shipping and warehousing functions, including designing warehouse layouts, selecting locations, integrating warehouse management systems with ERP, and improving processes to ensure efficient material movement to project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and establish the procurement team's end-to-end shipping and warehousing functions.
- Design warehouse layouts and select warehousing locations.
- Build and integrate a Warehouse Management System (WMS) with the ERP system.
- Drive continuous process improvements to ensure materials are moved accurately, quickly, and cost-effectively to project sites.
Requirements
- Own and stand up the procurement team’s end-to-end shipping and warehousing function from existing structure to steady state operation.
- Design warehouse layouts and select warehousing locations.
- Build and integrate a Warehouse Management System (WMS) with the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Drive continuous process improvement to ensure materials move to project sites accurately, quickly, and cost-effectively.
