Job Description
The Solar Project Manager will oversee the development and execution of commercial rooftop solar projects in Maryland, managing all phases from planning to construction, ensuring safety, compliance, and timely delivery through collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of solar projects across Maryland
- Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, budgeting, procurement, construction management, scheduling, reporting, and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and local stakeholders to ensure project safety, timeliness, and regulatory compliance
Requirements
- Experience leading the development and execution of solar projects across Maryland, including overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle such as planning, budgeting, procurement, construction management, scheduling, reporting, and risk mitigation.
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and local stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and in compliance with Maryland regulations and incentive programs.
- Technical expertise in solar project development and management.
- Strong leadership skills to provide guidance and oversight throughout project phases.
- Knowledge of Maryland-specific regulations and incentive programs related to solar energy projects.
