Job Description
A Project Manager responsible for leading the development and execution of commercial rooftop solar projects in Maryland, overseeing all project phases from planning to completion while ensuring safety, compliance, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of solar projects across Maryland
- Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, budgeting, procurement, construction management, scheduling, reporting, and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and local stakeholders to ensure project safety, timeliness, and regulatory compliance
Requirements
- Experience in leading the development and execution of solar projects across Maryland, overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle including planning, budgeting, procurement, construction management, scheduling, reporting, and risk mitigation.
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and local stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and in compliance with Maryland regulations and incentive programs.
- Technical expertise related to solar project development and management.
- Strong leadership skills to provide guidance and oversight throughout project execution.
- Knowledge of Maryland state regulations and incentive programs related to solar energy projects.
- Proven experience in managing project budgets and schedules effectively.
- Experience in risk mitigation strategies specific to solar project development.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
