An internship role supporting project development activities in renewable energy, focusing on process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and project diligence across multiple states, with opportunities to contribute to internal process enhancements and project advancement strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Project Development team in identifying process improvement opportunities, particularly for stage-gate processes.
Collaborate with internal teams such as Project Controls, Delivery, Engineering, and Utility Planning to understand current project strategies.
Contribute to project diligence efforts and stakeholder engagement in Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina.
Prepare reports and presentations on internal process improvements and project development activities.
Assist with advancing assets aligned with the 1x13x31 goal.
Requirements
Must currently be enrolled in an MBA program.
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Energy Land Management or an equivalent field.
1-3 years of work experience in project management, land development, or real estate.
Experience supporting project development activities, including identifying opportunities to enhance project development processes.
Ability to collaborate closely with Project Controls, Delivery, Engineering, Utility Planning, and other relevant teams to understand current processes and strategies.
Experience contributing to project diligence efforts and stakeholder engagement in Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina.
Ability to produce written deliverables such as reports on internal process improvement opportunities and presentations to the Project Development team.
Technical exposure or experience to the US energy and/or renewable market is desirable.
