Job Description
The role involves supporting the financing of solar energy projects through managing due diligence, financial modeling, and stakeholder coordination to facilitate tax equity and debt financings. It requires collaboration across internal teams and external partners to ensure successful project closings and financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project financing efforts for solar projects, including tax equity and debt financings
- Coordinate due diligence review and delivery with internal and external stakeholders
- Create and manage project finance data sites and closing checklists
- Update, maintain, and develop internal reporting and tracking tools
- Track and manage project closings in collaboration with stakeholders
- Review financial modeling assumptions and technical or legal documents
- Manage construction loan draw processes and milestone fundings
- Prioritize work to meet project goals and deadlines
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners across various functions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and or 2-4 years of work experience in transaction, finance, or portfolio financing experience.
- Demonstrated skill in partnering with external and internal stakeholders to execute on cross-functional workstreams.
- Ability to communicate complicated and technical points clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills able to collaborate within your team and cross-functionally.
- Analytical problem solver.
- Intellectually curious.
- Self-motivated, self-starter who can work independently when necessary.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Work well and professionally with others relationship focused.
- Process oriented.
