Job Description
The Data Analytics Intern at Clearloop will work with solar data to develop software, create dashboards, and analyze trends related to renewable energy projects, supporting equitable access to clean energy through hands-on data science and web development tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop front-end and back-end software using an agile framework
- Build charts and dashboards to visualize solar project data
- Validate and analyze data related to emissions, energy prices, etc.
- Establish automated and manual tests for code and dashboards
Requirements
- Familiarity with making charts using a programming language such as Python or R
- Experience using Excel and Django is also a plus
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one JavaScript frontend framework such as React or Angular
- Experience with at least one backend solution such as Firebase, SQL, or AWS
- Experience with using RESTful API
- Knowledge of how to use Git and GitHub
- Ability to commit 20-40 hours per week
- Undergraduate, graduate, or recent post-graduate status
