Job Description
The Senior Analyst at Sila is responsible for leading competitive intelligence efforts, conducting techno-economic analyses, and translating market insights into strategic and commercial tools to support the company's growth in advanced battery materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and coordinate the global competitive intelligence program, maintaining a centralized knowledge base.
- Structure and execute complex techno-economic analyses and technical benchmarking to assess competitive advantage.
- Lead cross-functional strategic war gaming and market entry analysis to anticipate competitor moves.
- Translate competitive insights into actionable commercial tools, such as sales battle cards and training materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or similar field required; advanced degree such as MBA or MS is highly desirable.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or a dedicated market competitive intelligence function, preferably within a deep-tech, industrial, or energy sector.
- Proven expertise and hands-on experience in a Techno-Economic Modeling (TEA) and advanced market research methodologies.
- Exceptional proficiency in Excel modeling tools and presentation software.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as an expert individual contributor, working autonomously to structure and execute analysis, and presenting complex insights directly to senior executive stakeholders.
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, copier, and printer, in a fixed location.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $136,000 to $172,000
