Job Description
The role involves leading the deployment of advanced project controls systems, particularly Oracle Primavera Cloud and Unifier, to enhance the delivery of complex construction projects. It combines technical system configuration with stakeholder communication, training, and process improvement to streamline operations and support project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and configure scalable, optimized project control solutions on Oracle systems.
- Plan, prioritize, and manage workload independently to achieve project goals.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders and team members.
- Create and deliver actionable reports to support project efficiency and decision-making.
- Develop team members and educate clients to improve project controls and system adoption.
Requirements
- Experience deploying technology in the construction industry, combined with the experience in planning in Primavera P6.
- Proficient communicator in written and verbal English, with the ability to convey messages with clarity, motivate teams, and lead meetings effectively.
- Kind and empathetic active listener, capable of giving and receiving constructive feedback.
- Proactively take ownership of tasks, inspire others through thoughtful questions, and challenge the team to think critically and stay on track.
- A track record of making projects and organizations better beyond just doing the basics.
- Willingness to learn and enjoy diving into training and user manuals to find answers.
- Strong attitude, drive, and people skills, with the ability to configure project controls systems and some experience in planning and project controls in the construction industry.
- Ability to explain complex problems in simple terms and build strong working relationships through effective communication.
- Ability to design and configure scalable, optimized, and fit-for-purpose solutions on Oracle systems, specifically Oracle Primavera Cloud OPC and/or Primavera Unifier.
- Responsibility for planning and prioritizing workload with autonomy to achieve outcomes.
- Ability to provide simple, actionable reports to stakeholders at all levels to help deliver projects more efficiently.
- Willingness to develop and educate team members and clients to improve their skills and understanding.
- Mastery experience deploying technology in the construction industry, combined with planning experience in Primavera P6 (must-have).
