Job Description
The role involves leading the deployment and configuration of advanced project control systems, particularly Oracle Primavera Cloud and Unifier, to improve the delivery of complex construction projects. It combines technical system implementation with stakeholder engagement, process optimization, and team development to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support deployment of project controls systems, including Oracle Primavera Cloud OPC and Unifier.
- Configure and customize Oracle systems to design scalable, optimized solutions for construction projects.
- Manage stakeholder engagement, ensuring effective communication and adoption of new processes and tools.
- Develop and deliver reports and actionable insights to project teams and stakeholders.
- Own and execute the system implementation plan, driving configuration, deployment, and user training.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by documenting solutions and evolving best practices for industry use.
- Support business development activities related to system sales and project implementation.
Requirements
- Experience deploying Oracle Systems in the construction industry, combined with the experience in planning in Primavera P6.
- Proficient communicator in written and verbal English, with the ability to convey messages with clarity, motivate teams, and lead meetings effectively.
- Kind and empathetic active listener, capable of giving and receiving constructive feedback.
- Proactively take ownership of tasks, inspire others through thoughtful questions, and challenge the team to think critically and stay on track.
- A track record of making projects and organizations better beyond just doing the basics.
- Willingness to learn and dive into training and user manuals to find answers related to Oracle Primavera Cloud OPC, Primavera Unifier, and other relevant platforms.
- Strong technical skills in configuring and deploying Oracle systems, with a focus on Primavera P6 planning experience.
- Ability to manage people and processes, engaging stakeholders to ensure understanding and adoption of new systems and processes.
- Ability to develop impactful, scalable, and optimized solutions on Oracle systems tailored to project controls needs.
- Experience in designing and configuring solutions that improve project delivery and operational efficiency.
- Ability to produce simple, actionable reports for stakeholders at all levels to support project delivery.
- Flexibility and adaptability to shift focus between Oracle systems implementation, planning, and project controls as needed.
- Willingness to work on complex, high-profile projects such as data centers, infrastructure, high-tech manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and complex building projects.
- Ability to document and evolve solutions into a knowledge repository for industry-wide use and testing.
- Experience working with or knowledge of platforms such as Oracle Aconex, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure OCI, and Oracle Fusion ERP is a valuable asset.
