Job Description
A senior engineering role focused on designing, implementing, and managing SCADA systems and control architectures for microgrids, power plants, and data center infrastructure to ensure reliable, efficient, and secure power operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation and control architecture for power systems in data centers and microgrids.
- Apply expertise in SCADA and networking system design to ensure system uptime and visibility.
- Support the development of behind-the-meter BTM or off-grid microgrids, gas-fired power plants, and solar-plus-storage systems.
- Shape and optimize control systems for mission-critical power infrastructure.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of electrical infrastructure, power automation, networks, and control systems to support the development of behind-the-meter BTM or off-grid microgrids, gas-fired power plants, and solar-plus-storage systems across hyperscale and colocation data centers.
- Expertise in shaping automation and control architecture that underpins mission-critical data center operations.
- Proficiency in SCADA system design and operation to ensure unparalleled uptime and visibility across complex power systems.
- Ability to support and lead the development of power automation, control systems, and networking systems related to microgrids, power plants, and data center infrastructure.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining control and automation systems for large-scale power and energy projects.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting mission-critical data center operations with a focus on automation and control systems.
- Ability to work in a hybrid or fully remote position, with flexibility to be based in Ridgewood, NJ, NYC, LA, Oakland, CA, or remotely.
