Job Description
A senior engineering role responsible for designing and expanding behind-the-meter microgrids, gas-fired power plants, and solar storage systems for hyperscale and colocation data centers, with a focus on decarbonized, resilient, and scalable energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and engineering of behind-the-meter BTM, microgrids, gas-fired power plants, and solar storage systems for data centers
- Drive the expansion of data center power solutions
- Build trusted partnerships with stakeholders and developers
- Ensure the development of decarbonized, resilient, and scalable energy infrastructure for mission-critical facilities
Requirements
- Oversee the design and engineering of behind-the-meter BTM, or off-grid microgrids, gas-fired power plants, and solar storage systems for hyperscale and colocation data centers.
- This role requires a hybrid work arrangement based out of Ridgewood, NJ HQ, or alternatively at NYC, LA, or Oakland, CA offices.
- Possess strong technical skills related to energy infrastructure, microgrids, and power systems engineering.
- Demonstrate commercial leadership capabilities to drive expansion of data center power solutions.
- Have a builder’s mindset focused on developing and implementing innovative energy solutions.
- Drive the expansion of data center power solutions and build trusted partnerships in the energy infrastructure sector.
- Ensure the company remains at the forefront of decarbonized, resilient, and scalable energy infrastructure for mission-critical facilities.
- Possess a long-term vision and ability to have a sustained impact on a fast-paced, private equity-backed growth business.
- Possess the ability to work in a hybrid environment, with flexibility to be located at Ridgewood, NJ HQ, or NYC, LA, or Oakland, CA offices.
