Job Description

A Change Management Program Manager at Samsara leads end-to-end change initiatives related to system implementations, process redesigns, and AI deployments within Operations, ensuring successful adoption and organizational alignment through strategic planning, training, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end change management for operations initiatives and cross-functional programs.
  • Develop and execute change management strategies, including stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, and resistance management plans.
  • Partner with project teams to integrate change management activities into program plans from the start.
  • Track and report on adoption and readiness KPIs, proactively managing risks and adjusting plans.
  • Design and deliver training programs and enablement assets to support adoption of new tools, systems, and processes.
  • Develop and maintain communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout change initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders to surface barriers and co-create solutions.
  • Manage projects from scoping through post-launch stabilization, including defining scope, timelines, and success criteria.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and trade-offs across multiple workstreams.
  • Establish scalable change management and project delivery frameworks for the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in change management, program management, or organizational effectiveness, with demonstrated exposure to Operations, supply chain, or similarly complex operational environments.
  • Change management certification required, such as Prosci ADKAR, CCMP, or an equivalent certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to run projects end-to-end owning scope, timeline, resource coordination, stakeholder alignment, and post-launch stabilization with minimal oversight.
  • Proven track record of leading change on large-scale system implementations or process transformation initiatives spanning multiple teams or functions, with measurable adoption outcomes.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) in the context of change, training, or process design.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Smartsheet) to plan, track, and report on complex, multi-workstream programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop executive-ready materials, change impact assessments, and frontline training content tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority, build trust quickly, and drive alignment across organizational boundaries and leadership levels.
  • Experience designing and delivering scalable end-user training programs across multiple formats including live sessions, e-learning, and self-serve reference materials.
  • Highly organized with a track record of managing competing priorities across multiple concurrent workstreams without dropping the ball.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with a strong bias toward action and pragmatic problem-solving.
