Job Description
The role involves managing and optimizing the release marketing processes for Samsara's product launches, ensuring cross-functional alignment, executing go-to-market strategies, and continuously improving operational frameworks to support scalable product marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product launch plan, including feature organization, prioritization, and mapping to market moments.
- Coordinate cross-functional alignment across Product, GTM, and Marketing leadership, driving decision-making and tracking open items.
- Oversee the execution of product launches by managing marketing planning and coordination meetings, optimizing timing and messaging impact.
- Measure and report on launch effectiveness through metrics like engagement, sentiment, and product adoption, providing insights for future strategies.
- Evolve the launch playbook by identifying process gaps, leading cross-functional improvements, and leveraging AI to enhance launch approaches.
- Build and run PMM operational programs, creating scalable frameworks, templates, and toolkits to improve team efficiency and consistency.
- Identify opportunities to improve team operations and implement initiatives to elevate the PMM team's effectiveness.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Marketing, Release Marketing, Product Operations, or a related role.
- Proven ability to design and implement scalable processes and programs in a fast-moving environment, ideally related to new product launches and/or release marketing programs.
- Strong track record of driving alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing organizations at multiple levels of seniority.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity, building without a playbook, and iterating quickly.
- Experience using technology, especially AI, to reimagine processes and customer experiences.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs with competing timelines and dependencies.
- Experience helping a Product Marketing team improve operational efficiency through operational improvements, shared rituals, or team programming.
- Ability to craft compelling messaging and identify content that resonates with audiences.

Annual Base Salary: $119,297.50 - $200,500 USD
