This role involves managing and optimizing Workday HR systems, particularly the Benefits module, to support global HR processes and improve operational efficiency within a fast-growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
Own and enhance the Workday Benefits module for scalability and efficiency
Design, build, test, and deploy end-to-end Open Enrollment configurations in Workday
Build and optimize custom Workday reports related to Benefits and HCM
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into Workday solutions
Scope, prioritize, and implement Workday releases and enhancements in the Benefits space
Partner with developers and vendors to improve Workday Benefits integrations and troubleshoot issues
Review system changes for process improvement and standardization
Configure Workday enhancements or fixes across HCM, Compensation, Payroll, and reporting
Gather, document, and validate business requirements for programs executed through Workday
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience working for fast-growing, global companies.
At least 4 years of experience in Workday configuration, including a minimum of 2 years specifically configuring the Workday benefits module.
At least 2 years of experience configuring core HCM in Workday.
Experience in Workday business process configuration, security, and organization configuration.
Experience working with Workday HCM, Benefits, and Core HCM modules in U.S. and International locations.
Experience writing and completing test scenarios for system implementations and enhancements in Workday.
Experience leading and configuring Compensation grids for the annual review process in Workday.
Strong understanding of Benefits best practices, HR processes, and compliance.
Experience documenting and analyzing requirements.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and prioritization of tasks.
Ability to prioritize workload and deliver enhancements or fixes on time without supervision.
Ability to provide accurate timelines, follow-up, and required documentation for change management.
Experience with Workday certifications (preferred).
Experience with Workday Benefits, Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking modules.
Knowledge of employment compliance and legal best practices.
Experience working with Jira, Zendesk, and other business applications integrating with Workday.
