Job Description
The Senior System EPM at Samsara is responsible for leading hardware engineering projects from concept to mass production, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality products that improve physical operations through IoT technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead hardware engineering projects from concept to mass production
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and supply chain
- Develop and execute engineering builds and ensure production readiness
- Manage communications and processes related to design reviews and approvals
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to meet project goals within schedule and budget
- Work with manufacturing partners and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and quality
Requirements
- 8 years of experience shipping high-volume hardware programs at scale with ODM and JDM partners overseas.
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail, prioritization, and triage of complicated issues.
- Adaptive attitude to fast-evolving industry and rapid development cycles.
- Self-motivated, proactive, creative, and critical problem-solving capabilities.
- Familiarity with project planning tools such as Microsoft Project and SmartSheets.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence for issue tracking and project summary.
- Familiarity with PLM systems for BOM and ECO management.
- Ability to travel internationally, depending on project needs, up to 20% of the time.
- Proximity to an international airport to facilitate travel.
- BS in a relevant technical field such as Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), or Computer Science (CS), or equivalent experience.

Base salary range of $164,900 to $205,000 USD
Hybrid work schedule with 2 days per week in the office and 3 days remote
