Job Description
A Senior Software Engineer responsible for developing scalable backend systems, web interfaces, and APIs to support real-time route planning, dispatch, and tracking for fleet management, utilizing technologies like Golang, GraphQL, and React in a remote, US or Canada-based role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable backend services for real-time route tracking, optimization, and reporting.
- Create web interfaces for dispatchers and fleet managers to manage routes and deliveries.
- Implement APIs and integrations with TMS and ERP systems to process route events.
- Design and develop features utilizing real-time data such as weather, traffic, and hours of service for dynamic route optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of relevant industry experience in software development.
- Strong programming coding fundamentals.
- Experience designing and architecting large, high-scale systems.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage technical discussions.
- An ability to estimate, communicate, and deliver upon project milestones with your team.
- Located in the US or Canada.
