The Manager of Asset Management is responsible for overseeing the safe, compliant, and optimized operation of utility-scale renewable energy assets, including solar and battery storage projects, ensuring performance targets are met and contractual obligations are fulfilled.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the safe, compliant, and optimized operation of the utility-scale renewable energy portfolio
Oversee Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) performance
Maintain regulatory and contractual compliance
Manage performance to meet or exceed production and financial targets
Coordinate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and external vendors to resolve challenges and implement improvements
Monitor daily operations and ensure assets operate at or above expected levels
Lead resolution of asset-related outages to minimize safety and financial impacts
Serve as primary contact for O&M providers, landowners, and utilities
Oversee maintenance schedules, issue resolution, and warranty claims
Track and assist with project budgets, expenses, and revenue streams
Ensure compliance with key contracts and regulatory requirements
Develop and deliver performance reports for stakeholders and investors
Manage onboarding and revenue maximization for new projects transitioning to asset management
Coordinate project documentation transfer and data setup in asset management platforms
Collaborate on integrating BESS into existing assets and identify opportunities for optimization
Requirements
5 to 7 years of professional experience, with strong preference for background in Solar BESS, financial analysis, project management, or related fields.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or Finance preferred, but not required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to convey complex information clearly.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite, proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, MS Power Platform Apps, Automation, and BI.
Preferred prior working experience with GreenPowerMonitor, QuickBase, Softwrench Maximo, or similar project management software.
Ability to travel up to 15%.
