Job Description

A senior full-stack engineer role focused on designing and developing products and platforms for vehicle telematics data, aimed at improving the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of physical operations across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop products and abstractions based on vehicle telematics data
  • Lead technical discussions to identify platform gaps and influence the product roadmap
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to make design decisions and understand downstream implications
  • Build and deploy ML/AI models and features integrated into the platform
  • Leverage large operational datasets to deliver actionable insights for customers
  • Maintain and support production systems owned by the team
  • Deliver full-stack features across front-end, back-end, and mobile platforms

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience designing and building products in a skilled software engineering team.
  • Strong programming fundamentals in a language such as Java, Python, or Golang.
  • Ability to solve difficult, ambiguous problems in a methodical manner.
  • Good level of comfort working on tasks where there is limited data or precedent.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining large-scale systems.
  • Ability to estimate, communicate, and deliver upon project milestones with your team.
  • Proactive growth mindset, always looking at ways to improve the status quo.
  • Experience with building ML AI-enabled products.
  • Experience improving operational health, observability, and cost efficiency to keep systems scalable and sustainable.
  • Demonstrated ability to help develop the technical mastery of newer engineering team members.
  • B.S. in Computer Science or related technical discipline (preferred but not explicitly mandatory).
  • Experience building customer-facing web and mobile workflow applications.
  • Contributed heavily to driving significant value to customers.
  • Curiosity about customers and eagerness to improve their day-to-day experience.
  • Seeks to iterate on new products based on customer feedback.
  • Ability to operate with deep autonomy across the product stack to deliver customer-facing solutions.
  • Ability to lead technical design discussions to solve high-scale data challenges and influence the platform roadmap.
  • Experience building and deploying end-to-end ML AI-driven models and features integrated into a platform.
  • Ability to leverage large operational datasets to deliver instant, actionable insights that generate clear ROI for customers.
  • Experience maintaining production systems and providing operational support.
  • Ability to work remotely in the UK or Poland, with the understanding that relocation assistance will not be provided.
