Job Description

This role involves developing and executing strategic sales initiatives for new product launches, collaborating cross-functionally to drive growth, analyze market and customer data, and support long-term business planning to enhance Samsara's connected operations solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the go-to-market sales strategy and execution for new product launches.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts and develop strategic plans to ensure product success and scalability.
  • Conduct data analysis and develop insights to inform product and market strategies.
  • Gather and interpret customer and market feedback to guide investment and product development decisions.
  • Develop business cases and operational plans to grow new products.
  • Identify performance improvement opportunities within the business to enhance productivity and execution.
  • Support long-term planning and resource allocation for new product growth.
  • Present insights and strategies to leadership to drive product growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing, and other teams to align efforts and build strong relationships.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience in Consulting, Finance, Business Operations, Sales Strategy Operations or other analytical roles
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects on a tight deadline
  • Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills with a deep sense of curiosity
  • Experience in building trusting relationships and influencing others, including executive audiences
  • Self-starter who thrives and can multitask in fast-paced and often ambiguous environments
  • Enthusiastic about improving efficiencies with a bias for action
  • Strong presentation skills, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing, comfortable in business and technical discussions
  • Ability to synthesize a broad set of information into a cohesive narrative
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (implied, as education is not explicitly stated but typically required for this level of experience)
  • Experience working with large data sets and leveraging DataBricks, BigQuery, SQL, or similar tools (preferred, but not mandatory)
