Job Description

A Sales Operations Senior Analyst at Samsara is responsible for optimizing sales processes, implementing strategic projects, and supporting system enhancements to enable scalable growth and improve the sales experience across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales and cross-functional leaders to enable scalable deal support processes
  • Identify, scope, resource, and prioritize strategic projects to improve the sales experience
  • Develop operational metrics and KPIs to analyze business processes and recommend improvements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align project objectives and deliver outcomes
  • Work with system owners to incorporate feedback, automate workflows, and conduct UAT testing
  • Drive change management initiatives to support process improvements within the organization

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Sales Operations role or experience in similar growth or operations roles in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to drive organizational change by project managing complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills with the AVP levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and the overall sales technology ecosystem
  • Strong organizational skills and business judgment with the ability to handle business and technical projects from end-to-end
  • Experience in Lead to Cash systems and business processes
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills to understand sales policies and processes at a company, team, and sales rep level
  • Prior demonstration of supporting the roll-out of strategy and implementation of new workflows to large sales organizations
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from a top university in business, finance, economics, business, or engineering focus (MBA is optional)
  • Familiarity with Product Management and/or Six Sigma best practices (plus, not mandatory)
  • Salesforce CPQ experience (plus, not mandatory)
  • High ability to communicate with both technical stakeholders and business leaders, translating complex issues seamlessly
  • Experience as a Salesforce administrator is a plus, but not required
