Job Description

The Program Manager for the Sales Engineering Team at Samsara is responsible for developing and managing programs that enhance team efficiency, support new product launches, and drive strategic initiatives to improve connected operations technology across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and oversee programs that enable the Sales Engineering team to effectively bring connected operations technology to customers
  • Partner with senior leadership to plan, budget, and deliver operational programs for the global Sales Engineering team
  • Collaborate with finance, marketing, and product teams to align on long-term planning, revenue forecasting, and go-to-market strategies
  • Lead strategic projects related to new product releases to support long-term growth
  • Analyze market, industry, and customer feedback to inform investment decisions and guide organizational strategies
  • Develop business cases and operational plans for new product opportunities and market expansion
  • Present insights and strategies to leadership teams and coordinate talent development and enablement initiatives for the Sales Engineering team

Requirements

  • A passion for new technologies, especially as they apply to the Industrial IoT space
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 7.5 years of experience in Consulting, Finance, Business Operations, Sales Strategy Operations or other analytical roles
  • Experience driving comprehensive organizational strategy via centralized reporting, including project status and process health
  • Experience building processes and enablement strategies resulting in measurable increases in organizational productivity and efficiency
  • A firm understanding of business process automation, and experience driving cross-functional initiatives to completion
  • Exposure to working directly with prospects and or customers in a pre-sales or customer success capacity
  • Experience designing and implementing New Product Release Cycle programs and processes (preferred but not mandatory)
  • The ability to deliver complex B2B systems integration projects and workflows
  • Experience with data integrity, data quality, data migration and data maintenance
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Familiarity with Salesforce
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Familiarity with AI tools

Annual OTE salary range of $158,950 to $187,000 USD
