Job Description
A Senior Product Manager responsible for developing and executing the strategy and roadmap for Samsara's Developer Platform, focusing on building developer tools, integrations, and ecosystem growth to enable innovation and long-term platform adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Own strategy, roadmap, and execution for Samsara's Developer Platform.
- Develop and deliver developer tools and experiences to empower external developers and increase platform adoption.
- Understand and advocate for developer needs by building relationships with customers and partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a high-quality developer platform that balances technical, business, and user needs.
- Manage and prioritize product features and technical investments based on data and customer feedback.
Requirements
- Experience leading products at a world class developer platform company, with a strong understanding of how to successfully scale developer ecosystems by empowering and enabling a community of developers
- Strong technical expertise in REST APIs, webhooks, SDKs, and app platforms, with an ability to grasp new technical concepts and establish credibility with engineers
- A proven track-record of delivering outstanding results for customers and the business, managing significant complexity and bold timelines, with a bias-to-action and willingness to get hands dirty
- Demonstrated experience defining and executing product roadmap for technical areas, and using analytics data to measure progress toward goals, manage tradeoffs, and make investment choices
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to customers and internal audiences, including senior executives, and drive cross-organizational alignment with high judgment and effectiveness
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a computer science degree
- Experience working as a Software Engineer and/or experience writing and shipping production-level code
- Familiarity with B2B SaaS products and working with B2B sales teams
- Ability to manage external and internal customers as key stakeholders in roadmap planning and development
