Job Description
The Senior Strategic Value Process Optimization Consultant (Value Engineer) is a trusted advisor responsible for helping customers achieve strategic goals and realize value using the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform through process analysis, value assessments, and driving adoption and expansion of the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate customer objectives into value assessments and proof-of-value projects
- Build business cases and demos leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices
- Conduct value assessments and facilitate business value workshops
- Identify and qualify opportunities for process improvement and enterprise-wide change
- Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives
- Manage the end-to-end customer value journey, including landing, expanding, adoption, and renewal
- Develop strategic expansion roadmaps to embed Celonis as a core business transformation platform
- Provide feedback to product teams for platform and app enhancements based on use cases
Requirements
- Five (5) years experience in an analytical role with the objective to demonstrate or secure value through business data analysis, business process improvement, and respective Software deployment, ideally in a customer-facing role in Solution Consulting, IT Management Consulting with a Business Software SaaS Provider or a Consultancy, or in an Inhouse role such as within a Center of Excellence for Data Mining Analytics Intelligence within an Enterprise.
- Experience in identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures, being a change agent, and training users and process owners to realize value.
- Understanding of the Finance and/or Supply Chain domain as well as strategic transformation initiatives such as Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation.
- Good knowledge of Business Software SaaS applications (e.g., SAP), with experience in implementing Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Business Intelligence (BI) tools, and building dashboards, apps, and action flows.
- Knowledge of Python and/or SQL and AI technologies.
- Experience in collaborating with IT teams.
- Experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines, including managing multiple projects at different stages of the value journey and leveraging partners from the Celonis Ecosystem.
- Experience in preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally, with excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
- Deep understanding of at least one industry such as Manufacturing, Automotive, Consumer, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, or Chemicals, including the ability to develop insights into industry trends and strategic opportunities.
- A degree in Technology Management, Industrial Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a comparable degree program.
